The EMEA Trading Conference, organised by the FIX Trading Community, took place on 7 March in London. Bringing together representatives from the buy side, sell side, exchanges, technology vendors, and regulatory bodies, the conference served as a platform to address the most challenging issues in trading and the future of the global marketplace, while also creating opportunities for further collaboration.
The event program explored a diverse range of topics, including T+1 settlement, the ongoing progress of developing consolidated tapes across asset classes, the impact of digital assets on the traditional asset space, the use of AI in electronic trading and effective regulation around it, the current landscape of fixed income markets, ways to mitigate operational risks, and more.
